Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated: July 17, 2026

This policy explains how paid Tregr subscriptions renew, how to cancel, and when refunds do and do not apply. It forms part of our Terms of Service and applies to customers worldwide. Where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory consumer rights that are stronger than this policy, those rights are not overridden — see section 5.

1. Subscriptions and auto-renewal

Tregr offers a free tier and paid monthly subscription plans. Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle and your payment method is charged for the next cycle, until you cancel. Current pricing is on our pricing page.

Before you confirm payment, the checkout screen shows you the exact amount to be charged and the plan you are subscribing to, and your billing page then shows your subscription status and next renewal date. In other words, charges are disclosed to you before you authorize them, and you can review your renewal date at any time from your billing page. Applicable taxes (for example GST for customers in India) are shown at checkout in addition to the listed price.

2. Cancelling — self-serve and in-app

You can cancel any time yourself, without contacting us:

  • Go to Dashboard → Billing and choose Cancel subscription.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You keep full access to your paid plan until that date — it is not cut off immediately.
  • After that date your subscription is not renewed and your account returns to the free tier. You are not charged again unless you resubscribe.

3. Refunds

Because cancelling lets you keep your paid plan through the end of the cycle you already paid for, we do not offer refunds or pro-rated credits for the unused portion of a billing cycle. Fees already paid for the current or past cycles are non-refundable, except:

  • Billing errors. If you were charged in error — for example a duplicate charge, or a charge after a valid cancellation — email us and we will investigate and refund an incorrect charge.
  • Where a refund is required by law. If mandatory consumer law in your country entitles you to a refund (see section 5), we will honor that entitlement.

We may also choose to grant a refund or credit at our discretion as a goodwill gesture; doing so once does not obligate us to do so again.

4. How to request a billing review

For a suspected billing error or a refund you believe is required by law, email help@tregr.io from your account email with your account details and what happened. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via our payment processor (Razorpay); the time to appear on your statement depends on your bank or card issuer.

5. Your local consumer rights

Our Terms are governed by the laws of India, but this policy does not attempt to override mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply where you live and that cannot be waived by contract. For example, consumers in the EU/UK may have a statutory cancellation or “cooling-off” right for digital purchases (which can be affected once a service begins with your consent), and other countries have their own protections. Nothing in this policy limits any such right that applies to you; where a stronger mandatory right applies, it prevails.

6. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the Service evolves and will revise the “last updated” date above. Questions about billing, cancellation, or refunds: help@tregr.io.
