Terms of Service

1. What Tregr does

Tregr lets you build automations (“flows”) that respond when someone comments a keyword on your Instagram post: it can send that person a private reply and follow-up direct messages, ask questions, gate delivery on whether they follow you, and record their responses as leads for you to review and export.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract.
• You may connect only Instagram professional (Business or Creator) accounts that you own or are authorized to manage.
• You are responsible for activity under your Tregr account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

3. Your responsibilities and acceptable use

You agree that you will not use Tregr to:

• send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or harass or deceive recipients;
• automate accounts you do not own or control;
• collect or use people’s information for any purpose you have not disclosed to them;
• violate Meta’s Platform Terms, the Instagram Community Guidelines, Instagram’s messaging policies, or any applicable law.

You are solely responsible for the content of the messages, keywords, and offers you configure, and for obtaining any consent your use requires. You must respect Instagram’s messaging window rules; Tregr sends messages only in response to a user’s own comment or reply.

4. Relationship with Meta / Instagram

Tregr is an independent application and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Meta Platforms, Inc. or Instagram. Your use of Instagram remains subject to Meta’s and Instagram’s own terms and policies. Access to Instagram features through Tregr depends on Meta’s APIs, which may change or become unavailable outside our control.

5. Fees

Tregr’s pricing is 2.9% per transaction with no monthly fee. Applicable fees, if any, will be shown to you before you incur them. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise.

6. Data and privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we store, use, and delete it. By using the Service you consent to that processing.

7. Service availability and changes

We provide the Service on an ongoing basis but may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for interruptions caused by Meta’s platform, hosting providers, or events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that message delivery will always succeed.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tregr will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the three months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy for deletion). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to recipients, to Meta’s platform, or to Tregr.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will revise the “last updated” date above, and material changes take effect when posted. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
